Kinetic Arts Center invites you to a celebration of Bay Area Circus. Summer Circus Celebration is three days of workshops and performances featuring circus professionals from around the SF/Oakland Bay Area and beyond.
Now in its fourth year, this annual event strives to connect and celebrate diverse circus communities.

Workshops and Performances
On Saturday and Sunday, a workshop pass gains you access to nearly 30 workshops in an eclectic range of topics. Past years have included workshops in: acrobatics, aerial chains, aerial silks, lyra, bullwhips, body mechanics, handstands, unicycling, character development, flying pole, Chinese pole, trapeze, mini lyra, photography, straps, stilting, and more!
Friday and Saturday evening, shows include acts from local and traveling professionals and young circus performers, primarily from the greater SF/Oakland Bay Area schools and studios. Each night is a different show.
Closing Ceremony
Join us after the final workshop on Sunday 8/10 at 6:30pm for a moment of connection and community. The Summer Circus Celebration brings artists from across the country together to learn, perform and share a love of circus. The Closing Ceremony will serve as an opportunity to meet and deepen your relationship with teachers, students, fellow participants and favorite performers. Kinetic Arts Center will provide light refreshments, music and space to gather.
